Threadneedle property head to retire

14 February 2018 - Columbia Threadneedle Investments has announced that Don Jordison, managing director of Threadneedle Property Investments, and co-manager of the Threadneedle UK Property Authorised Investment Fund, is to retire on 1 May 2018.

Following Don’s retirement, the fund will continue to be managed by existing co-manager, Gerry Frewin. Gerry has 20 years’ industry experience and has worked on the fund for the past seven years. He will be supported by Columbia Threadneedle’s 71-strong UK property team.

John Willcock, Property Finance and Commercial Director, will become head of Threadneedle Property Investments, reporting to Michelle Scrimgeour, Columbia Threadneedle’s EMEA CEO.

Michelle said: “Don is retiring after 24 years with the firm. While he will be missed, his retirement has been in the planning for some time and our property business has a strong senior management team in place. The team has a well-established investment philosophy and approach and this won’t change.”
