6 May 2014 - Polar Capital Holdings plc, the specialist investment manager, which was founded in 2001, has added thirteen of its funds to the Chelsea FundStore.
The company has a boutique culture, which is liked by Chelsea’s research director, Juliet Schooling Latter, as she believes it encourages talent and ownership. The company has added seven regional equity and absolute return funds and five specialist sector funds to the FundStore.
Chelsea's research team likes some of the specialist sector funds, including Global Healthcare, managed by Gareth Powell and Dr Dan Mahony, Global Technology, managed by Nick Evans and Ben Rogoff and Financial Opportunities, run by John Yakas. All the managers are highly respected and are in regular contact with our research team to update us on the investment outlook for their respective areas.
