New lead manager for Newton Asian Income

7th June 2016 - Zoe Kan promoted to lead manager of Newton Asian Income

A year on since Jason Pidcock left to join Jupiter Asset Management, Newton Investment Management has made Zoe Kan lead manager of the Newton Asian Income fund.

Zoe has worked on the fund since 2005 and will be supported by Caroline Keen and Rob Marshall-Lee, who is head of the Emerging and Asian equities team and who has had overall responsibility for the fund since Jason left in May 2015.

Newton Asian Income has a generic 'hold' rating from Chelsea.
