24th September 2015 - Allianz Global Investors announced today that they have hired Mike Riddell.
With a track record of European fixed income experience dating back to the 1950s, Allianz Global Investors already has a big presence in Europe and manages EUR 147 billion of European fixed income assets. Mike's appointment will help them expand their fixed income offerings in the UK.
Mike Riddell, who left M&G in July, managed the M&G Global Government Bond, Index Linked Bond, Global Macro Bond and Gilt & Fixed Interest Income funds for a number of years. He will join Allianz Global Investors on 1 October 2015 and will take on the management of the Allianz Gilt Yield and Allianz Sterling Total Return funds on 30 November 2015. These funds are currently outsourced to PIMCO.
