Fidelity UK Smaller Companies fund closing to new investments

3rd March 2016 - From 6th April 2016, Fidelity will no longer be accepting new investments or switches into the Fidelity UK Smaller Companies fund.

The company says that, in recent months, the fund has been attracting a high level of investor subscriptions and they need to take action to ensure that the overall size of the portfolio does not reach a level which could compromise the fund's investment strategy or performance.

Existing regular monthly savings plans can continue unchanged after this date, but no new plans will be set up.
