6 July 2015 - From today, Ecclesiastical Investment Management will be known as EdenTree Investment Management.
Ecclesiastical Investment Management was established in 1887 to protect the Anglican Church. Over the years the company has grown to provide tailored insurance solutions, financial services and risk management solutions.
The company has been at the forefront of socially responsible ethical investments for almost 30 years now, with the launch of one of the UK’s first retail ethical investment funds, the Amity fund, in 1988.
Historically, ethical investment funds have largely found it difficult against the unconstrained peer group, but Ecclesiastical bucks the trend and it ranked very highly in the FundCalibre Equity Fund Management Index earlier this year.
Ecclesiastical is now looking to establish itself as a successful City-based investment firm in its own right and is rebranding to EdenTree Investment Management.
Neither the fund managers nor the investment processes will change.
