Just over a year ago, we highlighted a new investment opportunity to our clients: the launch of CRUX European fund. It was subsequently added to the Chelsea Selection in March this year.
Managed by Richard Pease, with whom many of our clients invested in the early 1990s in the Jupiter European fund and, more recently, in Henderson European Growth, the CRUX European fund launched on 30th October 2015 at a price of £1 per share and a discounted annual management fee for Chelsea customers.
Over the past 12 months*, the fund has returned 18.42%—2.3% more than the FTSE World Europe ex UK index—and beaten its peer group average by 3.3%. A single share is now worth £1.18.
We will be meeting with Richard again at the start of December and will add an updated interview to the website shortly after. Keep an eye out for it in our News & Views section.
