14 April 2021 – After eight years at the firm, fund manager Jonathan Golan has decided to leave Schroders and will be joining the fixed income team at Man GLG.
Following a short handover, Julien Houdain and Daniel Pearson will become co-managers of the Schroder Sterling Corporate Bond fund.
Darius McDermott, managing director of Chelsea Financial Services, commented: “Jonathan had run the fund very successfully at Schroders, backed by one of the best resourced credit teams in the UK.
“It’s a shame he is leaving, but we wish him well in his new role. Unfortunately, the fund will have to come off the Chelsea Selection and move to a generic hold rating, pending a meeting with the new managers.”
Daniel Pearson will continue to co-manage the Schroders High Yield Opportunities fund, and Julian Houdain will continue to co-manage the Schroders Strategic Bond fund.
