1 February 2018 - Aviva Investors is winding up its Asia Pacific Property fund, having sold all eight of its holdings.
The company suspended dealing in the fund back in 2015, when it first decided to close the fund. This decision was taken after two of the fund's largest investors – who accounted for almost 75% of its assets under management – announced that they would withdraw their investment.
While Aviva Investors will not be able to return any final proceeds until later this year, it has made six payments in total and says it has returned “the majority of the fund's value” to investors.
