Use our website - switching funds

In our last newsletter we looked at how to register for an account on Chelsea FundStore. Once you have registered, within 48 hours you will have gained access to your account. If you need to be connected quicker, simply call us in the office. To switch, using our research centre, please follow the steps below.

1. Click on the “Sign in/out” at the top of our homepage www.chelseafs.co.uk or go directly to https://secure.chelseafs.co.uk/login.aspx

TIP: If you have forgotten your password you can request one on this page, by clicking “Forgotten Password”. Remember to change it when you log in by clicking “Change Password”

2. Click “switch funds”.

3. Choose the fund(s) you want to switch. Check the box on the left of the fund name then click the switch button at the bottom of the page. If you are switching out of more than one fund the proceeds will be consolidated ready for your switch.

4. You will be taken through to the “Switch TO” page. Please be aware that this may take a few seconds to load.

5. There are a number of ways to choose a fund to switch into:

    a) Type the fund name into the “Search for a fund” box. As you type, a dropdown will appear offering you fund options. Click on the fund you want, or press “return” to see relevant funds.

Type the fund name

TIP: If you are typing the fund name in to “search for a fund”, make sure all of the other dropdown boxes show “All funds” or “All”. If they don't you may not be able to find the fund you are looking for.

    b) Use one of the dropdown options to filter and pick a fund. If using the “sector” dropdown,     please scroll down until you see “UK Investment Association” and select from there.

    c) If you are choosing a Chelsea EasyISA click the “Chelsea EasyISA” box, which will give     you the options.

7. Click MY BASKET which will expand and show the funds you have selected.

TIP: If you select the wrong fund you can remove it by either clicking the ADD- button, or by selecting the “remove” option in MY BASKET.

8. Once you have selected the funds you want, click “purchase funds”.

9. The next page will show you what you have selected. You will need to confirm the following things:

  • What percent of fund(s) would you like to switch out?
  • Thinking about the proceeds created from the “Switch From” fund(s), how would you like this split over the “Switch To” fund(s)?
  • Choose whether you want income to be reinvested. If you have chosen to switch into income units, you will be asked to complete your bank account details, at a later stage (please see step 12), so that the income can be paid to you on a consolidated monthly basis.
